*James Kaufman, silversmith mastermind, currently resides in
British Columbia. He was formally
trained in silversmithing in Asia merely by chance (or was it?). He pulled up a bench one day to watch
an older Asian silversmith create a ring Kaufman had designed. Little did Kaufman know that this Asian
man would be the individual responsible for his formal training as a
silversmith. Kaufman is intrigued
by the long, rich tradition of casting jewelry. He particularly has an affinity for bronze and the warmth,
history, and mythical qualities it possesses. This affinity for ancient history has kept him intrigued and
inspired to create interesting, unique, one of a kind pieces.
